BARREIRO - Following the recent launch of Teletoon+ in Canada, a multiplatform streaming service for children and young people, the Corus group today announced the rebranding of two of its children's television channels in Canada, which will take place on March 27, and will feature a new schedule of children's series. The Canadian channel Teletoon will become Cartoon Network Canada , while the latter will be modified to introduce Boomerang Canada , which is debuting in the Canadian market for the first time. The new Cartoon Network Canada will offer iconic and classic Teletoon shows, along with series produced by Cartoon Network Studios , Warner Bros. Discovery , and Corus ' own Nelvana studios. The new Boomerang Canada , on the other hand, will air older Cartoon Network and Corus programs along with reruns of more recent Cartoon Network content, such as The Tom and Jerry Show , The Powerpuff Girls , Jellystone! , Total Drama Island , and many more.
